Helping Hand
The Studio is currently developing and prototyping a 3D printed prosthetic hand in collaboration with the worldwide e-NABLE community on Tuesdays, from 1:00PM-6:00PM at the Main Library. Check out the progress they have made so far.

Visit the Information Center for People with Disabilities located on the Plaza level of the Main Library and learn about the adaptive technology and assistive devices available for people with physical, visual, hearing, and learning disabilities.

Two New Discussion Groups at North Library
Urban Fiction Author Series
Learn about the authors and the history of "street literature". Each month one author will be featured and discussed.

Baby Time Literacy
Baby Time is a literacy based program for infants and crawlers up to 15 months of age that will delight and stimulate your baby's senses with bouncing rhymes, songs, fingerplays, and simple books with an opportunity for playtime after the program. Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00PM at the Dana Neighborhood Library.

Wimpy Kid Extravaganza
Start your Spring Break with the Wimpy Kid extravaganza. Celebrate all things "wimpy" with a readers' theater play and activities including "Draw the Wimpy Kid" and "The Long Haul Game."  For children and their parents and caregivers. Tickets will be distributed and limited to the first 70 people on Saturday, April 4 at 1:00PM at Los Altos Neighborhood Library.

All twelve Long Beach Public Library locations will be featuring programs with the theme "Unlimited Possibilities @ Your Library." The proclamation declaring April as National Library Month will be read and presented at the Tuesday, April 7 City Council meeting.
